A Colorado campaign to fix schools NOW

By | April 27th, 2011

A new and much needed campaign to improve education comes from Step Up Colorado, a non-profit backed by the Employment Policies Institute. The ad above states…

“Colorado has made important first steps for improving teacher quality, but these reforms aren’t happening fast enough. Over the last five years, more than 80,000 Colorado seniors failed to graduate from high school, leaving many of these kids with few job prospects. We need more change, and we need it faster. Why should we wait years before more classroom reforms are put in place? We can do better now.”

Here’s hoping that people take the time to really listen to these commercials and realize that we’re failing the next generation.
