A Denver Post report that Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper will speak at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., next month put us in mind of the presidential nomination in 2008 of then-U.S. Sen Barack Obama at the DNC in Denver when Hickenlooper was mayor.
Above is a highlight reel we put together in 2010 of the Hickenlooper and Obama mutual admiration society, dating back to 2006, when Hickenlooper introduced Obama at an event in Denver as “100 percent community activist.”
