As promised in a previousĀ post, here’s footage from a July 20 event in Pueblo with Colorado gubernatorial candidate John Hickenlooper. No surprise, I didn’t get in. But I assume whoever was in theĀ TV news that van drove past me got a warmer welcome. Here’s their article and video on the event, “Hickenlooper Brings Jobs Plan To Pueblo.”
Clearly, the Denver mayor himself is getting a warm welcome from print and broadcast media as he tours the state.
Mixing peaches with politics: Hickenlooper visits Palisade, NBC 11 News, Grand Junction
Gubernatorial candidate to visit Craig, Craig Daily Press, Craig
Denver mayor Hickenlooper visits Greeley, Greeley Tribune, Greeley
Hickenlooper touts business savvy, The Pueblo Chieftain, Pueblo
That’s not to say those media outlets, and others, won’t take a harder look at Hickenlooper after the Aug. 10 primary, in which he’s running opposed.
But the last time I heard someone ask Hickenlooper the very tough questions that Coloradans deserve to have asked – and that Hickenlooper should answer – was on the Caplis and Silverman radio show.
