Wednesday night at Red Rocks, at a joint appearance with running mate Paul Ryan, Republican presidential nominee Gov. Mitt Romney alluded to the importance of Colorado as a swing state, telling the crowd of at least 10,000, “I think the people of Colorado are going to get us all the way there. What do you think?”
Colorado’s nine electoral votes remain important to both candidates’ paths to the needed 270. Pres. Obama held a rally at City Park in Denver today. Each campaign is gaming out the Electoral College map for ways to win without Ohio, as recent polling has put that state’s 18 votes firmly in the tossup column.
